Mr Jason is the founder of M/s Jason Kong & Co. As at 2018, Mr Jason has been practicing as a professional Advocates and Solicitors for 9 years. Over the great journey in legal profession, he had major success rate in every aspect of law practices ranging from conveyancing to general litigation.
Mr Jason Kong was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in February 2010 thereafter practised as a lawyer in Messrs Richard Tee & Chin until the year of 2011 when he was offered to join as partner under the name and style of Messrs Yap & Loo commencing from
1st July 2011. Throughout his years of practice, Mr Jason Kong is actively engaged in Civil litigation, Criminal litigation, conveyancing works and other matters of law which include recoveries, winding up, divorce proceeding, bankruptcy proceeding, injunction, industries relation, probate and letter of administration, execution of judgement by way of writ of seizure and sale, Judgment debtor summons, appeal proceeding, remand hearing, bail application for criminal cases, mitigation in court.
Apart from legal practice, Mr Jason Kong also actively involved with Bar Council activities. He was appointed as project head for dock brief committee for the term of 2010/2011 under the Legal Aid Centre Kuala Lumpur and subsequently re-appointed as advisor for the Dock Brief
Program from 2011. In 2011, he was co-opted into Kuala Lumpur Bar Committee as Chairperson for Pupil Welfare Committee for the term 2011/2012 and member of Young Lawyer Committee, member of Court Liaison Committee and a member of Constitutional law Committee for the
term 2011/2012.
